Taking into consideration the global pandemic across the globe, security measures severely restrict businesses, including catering. Supporting the catering companies of the Sigulda region, during the campaign "Take me with you"(Paņem mani līdzi"), the residents and guests of the city are invited to choose a meal to take- away!

A number of companies in the county have placed a reminder in the windows and doors of their cafes and restaurants, "Take me with you, so that we can meet here again soon"(Paņem mani līdzi, lai mēs drīz atkal tiktos šeit), which means that the entrepreneur needs public support to survive this period of strict health and safety measures, including in public catering. The regulations say that meals may be served in cafes and restaurants only for take-away. Entrepreneurs are finding that turnover has now fallen drastically, driven not only by trade restrictions but also by a slowdown in human flows during working hours.

Signs placed on the entrance doors of restaurants, cafes, pizzerias, bistros, as well as taverns, will serve as a sign of recognization for catering companies, indicating that it is possible to take a meal to take- away at the particular company.

The campaign is organized by the municipal agency "Sigulda Development Agency", emphasizing that it is important to support each other at this time when the world order has changed significantly!

From the beginning of May many cafes and restaurants offer possibility to eat in outdoor terraces!
