Festivity square
Festivity square was inaugurated in 2007 to celebrate Sigulda’s 800 year anniversary. Nearby is the Ferris wheel which offers panoramic views of the city and Gauja Valley.

Nearby is the Ferris wheel which offers panoramic views of the city and Gauja Valley.
It can hold up to 30,000 people as happened in August of that same year for a concert of the most popular Latvian band Brainstorm.
Different kinds of festivals and events are happening in this square all year long. It is also the finish line for the annual Tour de Latvia cycling race.
