The Sigulda County Tourism Information Center has put together a tourism offer in Sigulda and the Sigulda Castle Quarter, inviting local residents, as well as city guests to get to know Sigulda architecture, nature, different entrepreneurs, as well as to enjoy exciting sports activities.
The brochure "One Day in Sigulda" includes the Three-castle route, which will introduce visitors to Sigulda's New Castle, the Castle Quarter and the creative workshops of the quarter's craftsmen, including the Live Silver Museum, going farther to Krimulda Manor and Cremon Winery. We welcome you to visit a post popular museum in Latvia - Turaida Museum-Reserve, where you can find architectural, art, and historical monuments in a large area. The path of the Three castle route is suitable for lovers of beautiful landscapes and historic architecture.
The brochure also describes the most beautiful natural and urban objects - Paradise hill, Emperor's view, and chair, Gutman's Cave, Festivity square, Walking stick park- which is Sigulda's oldest and most traditional souvenir!
The offer of sports tourism has also been gathered together, which allows to experience unforgettable emotions for fans of active tourism, visiting Sigulda Sports Center, Bobsleigh and luge track "Sigulda", adventure park "Tarzāns", laser tag "Poligon-1", Sigulda football golf, Adventure park "Mežakaķis", as well as Sigulda Adventures' wide range of offers, including Aerodium wind tunnel, Sigulda air-cable car and Zipline "Zērglis".
The brochure “Get to know Sigulda Castle Quarter” summarizes the workshops of the quarter's creative craftsmen. A unique, creative quarter that has formed from the former territory of the Livonian Order castle forecourt, which brings together outstanding craftsmen who not only work here but also teach their craft to the city's guests in masterclasses. In the quarter of Sigulda Castle, it is possible to enjoy the breath of culture and history, as well as have an amazing meal in Sigulda ice cream shop, restaurant "Kungu Rija" and "Turaida delicacies".
This year, the Live Silver Museum has opened its doors in the Sigulda Castle Quarter. The expositions have been created by jeweler, artist, and philosopher Oļegs Auzers. Visitors have the opportunity to learn the story of the origin of each work of art and get to know the various stages of silver by going on a guided tour, as well as participate in a silver water tasting.
