In 2007, Sigulda local "Mihails, known on Internet as "MaiklsBlack" has created a private collection of old computers featuring more than 360 computers, various techniques, and their history.

80% of the computers in the museum are mostly in working order. 

The old hardware museum is a private museum, which is free of charge to visit and everyone is invited to come. Not only computers but also old radios, televisions, telephones and much more that are related to electronics and hardware can be seen in the museum. The whole technique in the museum has been renovated and restored. The museum accepts old computer "bits", which were produced in Russia and abroad in the last century up to 2000, as well as the "bits" of the last century related to radio and electronics.
