Visiting this valley will be an amazing adventure for the lovers of wild nature. Impressive sandstone cliffs, caves, and niches may be found along the shores of the small but wild river.

The small river of Lorupe flows through a deep valley, which is often referred to as a ravine because of its steep banks. On the slopes of the valley, sandstones are exposed. Over Lorupe valley on Vidzeme highway in 1978 a viaduct was built that duplicates the old road through the valley.
