Līgatne county in a small area combines sandstone rock outcrops and cliffs, the Paper mill's historic centre, nature trails, a ferry over the Gauja river and other interesting sightseeing objects.

Ligatne Nature Trails were established in 1975 with the aim of familiarizing visitors with the nature of Latvia, the local plant and animal kingdom, species of wild mammals, biodiversity and protection of nature.

Līgatne paper mill was established in 1815 and operated until 2014. It was the oldest industrial company in Latvia, which operated for almost 200 years.

The Vienkoči Park popularise the green lifestyle and use of natural materials, but most of all the wood that the log-boats are made of. The park offers a display of log-boats, chairs, sculptures, lighting elements, and other wooden articles.

Cēsis is not only one of the oldest cities, but also one of the most Latvian cities in Latvia. Rich in scenic landscapes and historical testimonies, it embodies an intriguing spirit of old times and modern self-esteem.

Recreation park "Rāmkalni" offers a variety of attractions in summer and a ski hill in winter. It is possible to have a good meal in the bistro and in the restaurant and buy Rāmkalni-made products and other delicacies from nearby and more distant places.

On the hill near the lake, the Bīriņi castle, built-in 1860 by fon Pistolkors family, rises. It is a romantic place created with love, surrounded by a picturesque park, lakes, and manor houses with a hotel, restaurant, premises for weddings and seminars. Various saunas, forest walking trails, horse riding, cycling, and boating are meant to improve your health.

Nine meters below the ground there is a well-equipped bunker with an area of over 2,000 square meters, the secrecy seal of which was only removed in 2003.
