
Sigulda has been recognized as the most beloved city in Latvia for the third year in a row, according to the latest data of the top brands “Baltic Brands”.
In the voting of Latvian residents, Sigulda has gained the recognition of 40.7% of respondents as an influential and popular brand, leaving Ventspils in second place (36.7%), but Riga in third place with 35%.
Respondents have acknowledged Sigulda as the most beloved city by participating in a survey throughout the territory of Latvia. “Sigulda as a brand plays an important role in the hearts of the people of Latvia, because with its "orange" passion, four seasons of weather and our innovative ideas, it allows us to promote the influx of domestic tourism and creates pride for every Sigulda resident that we are privileged to live in this place! This recognition once again proves that Sigulda has been established as a sustainable and powerful city, as it has been able to strengthen its position in the conditions of ever-increasing competition, ”admits Uģis Mitrevics, Chairman of Sigulda Municipal Council.
We remind you that last year the top of the brands was organized on the scale of the Baltic States and even then in fierce competition Sigulda was able to stand as the most beloved city in Latvia. For the first time in Latvia, Sigulda won the title of the most loved city in 2018, before that it purposefully rose from 4th place in 2011 every year.
The top of the most loved brands has been created since 2004, it is formed by "Nord DDB Riga" and partners. The top of the most loved brands is an important reference point in the depiction of consumer attitudes, lifestyle, and habits in Latvia.
